The most impressive church in Barcelona. Started in 1881, today only 7 years to the construction deadline. The exterior highlight is the Nativity facade created by Antoni Gaudí and the interior is a spiritual experience of lights.
Very beautiful church built by the townspeople in only 54 years, (1329-1383), most important characters where "los bastaixos", Catalan workers who carried all the stones on their backs from the quarry in montjuic to the location. After the Civil War, FC Barcelona (football team) donated a lot of money to its reconstruction and one of its stained glass windows has the team's shield. Can you find it?
Church built between 1319-1391. Catalan Gothic style (mixture of Romanesque and Gothic) it was built to honour the successive apparitions of the Virgin Mary in a Pine tree that is right in front of the church.
Beautiful cathedral that hides a treasurer: in the cloister of this building there are 13 geese to honor of Santa Eulalia, a 13-year-old girl, shepherdess of geese and one of the first Christian martyrs.
Beautiful monastery from the ninth century. One of the oldest buildings in Barcelona. In its time it was located outside the walled city, today the city is grown and it’s in the centre of Raval Neighbourhood.
